Schoolboy and Suburban Rugby - Schoolboy rugby at St Patrick’s College, West Harbour Rugby Club Colts and St Patrick’s Old Boys 1st Division Captain Kentwell Cup team 5 Years 

Refereeing Pathway:

Traditional - Began refereeing schools rugby before moving to West Suburbs Referee Association.  I then joined Sydney Referee Association / NSW Referee Association and progressed onto the ARU NMOT from there. 

What got you into refereeing?

Interest at School. A good mentor encouraged a group of us to referee while continuing to play. 

Best on-field moment(s)

Refereeing on the different sports stadiums around the world. There have been numerous trips but each has its own unique quality. 

Best off-field moment(s)

Tour around the DMZ in Korea / Sri Lankan trip to assist young referees. 

Funniest refereeing moment

Sending off Michael Cheika who questioned my cultural heritage…(he’s of the same heritage), Though it may not have been funny at the time, it was very funny.

Best refereeing advice you have ever been given?

Be true to yourself.
